This is our morning 'start your day right' juice! We have grown so accustomed to drinking this upon rising that without it, we feel something is missing! It does take some preparation but the rewards in nutrition are well worth it. I frequently wash and prepare my ingredients the night before and leave them in a bowl in the fridge to use in the morning. Ingredients: * 1 small apple or 1/2 medium or 1/2 large * 1 carrot * 1 stick celery * 2-3 leaves of kale * 1 handful parsley * 1 handful spinach * 1 thumbprint size chunk of fresh ginger * 1/2 fresh lemon (use the rind too) Method: Using a juicer such as a Green Star or Champion juicer or even a Breville juicer which works fine as well, extract the juice from all the ingredients. I put the apple and lemon through last to help clean out the juicer! Drink immediately. Makes 2 small cups.
